Principles of Earth Magic Book 1

I had to do a project for Intro to Computer Graphics and this is it.  I sketched out the hands and digrams, used the pen tool in Illustrator to trace them, then added a drop shadow and beveled and embossed them (except for the last hand in the ring section where I used inner shadow), for the background I used the color from an old 1977 Ms. Marvel comic that had faded and used the crinolaque (I think that was the name) texture and then used the charcoal tool to rough it.  Tough project really, we had to do all the illustrations with Illustrator and then put it all together with indesign with frames and grids and text threads and man did I have trouble with fonts.  (My computer and the school computer didn't have the same set)  But I got it all together and if I'm not completely satisfied with it I still like it a lot.
